Beers Nears the Chip LeadScoping the room, there's no obvious big stacks in the early going of Day 1B. A lot of players are in the 40-60k range, but nobody is clear of 100k.
One of the larger stacks belongs to Jason Beers (Ottsville, PA) who's sitting on 84k.
He says his big hand is when he flops a flush with Q♥ J♥.
The money goes in on a board of A♥ 3♥ 4♥ and Beers has two players covered who are both all-in. One player has the lower flush with 8♥ 2♥, while the second person flops two pairs with A♦ 3♦.
The board runs clean and Beers wins the brew-ha-ha and the nearly 60k pot.
