$2000 +$200 Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em
Championship Event
Tyng Low opened for 30k and Steven Curtin raised to 80k. Tyng called the raise. Before the flop appeared Steven bet 300k, which was enough to cover Tyng. The flop came T 5 3 rainbow and Tyng called all-in, showing JT suited for top pair. That was good for the lead, as Steven tabled AQ off. The turn was a King, which gave Steven more outs, needing an Ace, Queen, or Jack. And the river was...a Jack! Steven took the pot with Broadway, beating Tyng's two pair.
"Suck Out Steve -- SOS -- That's what they call me!" said Steven as he collected his chips.
Tyng Low finished in 19th place earning $3,736. He was the chip leader at the end of day two. Interestingly, the end of days 1A (Todd Geddis) and 1B (Mike Melkersen) chip leaders are both still alive.
With 18 players remaining they broke table three and moved those players to the other two tables.
