Championship Event Day 3
Ed Corrado, the elder statesman of the remaining players, has been quiet all day, but makes some noise in a hand against Mirza Nagji. Picking up the action on a board of 7♦ 9♣ Q♣ 3♦, there's 700k+ in the pot when Corrado is all-in for his last 218k.
Nagji goes into the tank, counts out the chips and reluctantly calls. Corrado shows 9♥ 9♦ for a set of 9s and Nagji tosses his cards into the muck before the A♣ comes on the river. "I'm drawing dead," says Corrado, who's lost a few pots since the break.
Corrado is now one of the few players that has more than 1 million chips.
