$300 + $50 NLH
From Borgata Summer Poker Open Media table we happened to watch two separate players from separate tables, stand, celebrate, and fist pump at precisely the same time - as if in sync.
Fist Pump #1: Mark Steitz (Wall Township, NJ) was excited that his KK held up against Opponent's JJ. Mark's stack has reached 90,000.
Fist Pump #2: Sean Grieve (Jersey City, NJ) was certain his tournament was over. He was heads up all in pre-flop and Opponent had him covered. All Sean could do was beg for a two, or two.
A-9 against Sean's 2-2.
Flop falls A-A-brick.
Sean stands and gathers his things. But wait - the first part of his miracle hits the turn.
As if a defibrillator jolted his chest and signs of life started to return, he shouted out, "Two, Two, Two" and the poker God's complied with quads. Very fist pump worthy indeed.
"I still thought I was out the door. I had to double check to make sure it was real" said Grieve.
With that needed double up, Sean's stack has grown to 45,000.
