I noticed that Tom Dobrilovic's seat was occupied by a new face, so I hunted Tom down to find out what happened.
In the 75/150 level, a player opened for 400, then Tom kicked it up to 1,600. A third player cold-called and the opener opted out. On the flop of 8 6 5, Tom led out for 2,500 and his opponent shoved for ~15k.
Tom gave it some thought, then made the call all-in with his pocket Aces. His opponent was trailing with 87 off for top pair with open-ender, but had a lot of outs (any 9, 8, 7, or 4). A 9 on the river sealed Tom's fate. He'll be back to play the $2k event next weekend.
A couple more players spotted: Abraham Korotki and Eric Panayiotou are sharing the felt on table 4. Eugene Fouksman is over on table 10.

Ironically, with the Ladies Event going on across the room, it was Abraham Korotki (Ventnor City, NJ) who entered and won the Ladies Event here in September 2009. Thankfully today he opted to play in the open event.
