PLO players are in level 2 with blinds of 25/50. Nine tables are now in action but the last one only has three players, so the player count is creeping up on 90. Entries are still being accepted through level 2.
A handful of players who have busted out of today's 11am NL Hold'em event are appearing in the PLO field, perhaps hoping a change of game will change their luck.
Joe SimmonsMost notable among the PLO players is Joe Simmons (Philadelphia, PA). Joe made his mark on the poker world in 2007 when he final-tabled the $10k Borgata Poker Classic WPT Championship event, finishing 4th for $387,709. His lifetime tournament earnings are now over $740,000.
Joe is a DJ, rapper, writer, producer, and former manager of the internationally acclaimed hip-hop group The Roots. He's also a regular in the high-stakes cash games here at Borgata.
